Dear St. Stephen CME Members and Friends,
As beloved members, we have much to be grateful for here at St. Stephen CME Church. The power and beauty of God's love continues to be manifested through our church.
SSCMEC has been a gathering place of prayer and sharing for over 48 years, and we celebrate that heritage.
To make certain that future generations will be served by SSCMEC, a Capital Campaign Steering Committee was formed mid-year 2016, and the Capital Campaign was officially launched with a prayer vigil on March 1, 2017.
We are asking you to make a personal pledge of support to ensure the success of our Capital Campaign, and the future of SSCMEC. Giving is a spiritual adventure. It is an act performed for God and with God. As we put this into perspective, we will know the joy that comes from making the decision to give. We ask that you take up the challenge of deepening your own experience of faith and further the mission of Christ carried out here at SSCMEC.
To receive your Capital Campaign information packet, including your pledge form, please ask any member of the Steering Committee: Myrtle Boggan, Walter Boggan, Annette Carey, Geneva Fair,
Rose Mary Lewis, Tommy Martin, Frank Primus or William Young, Sr. Or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sincerely yours in Christ,
Pastor David C. Isom

Question & Answer Session
Sunday, April 2 immediately following 10 a.m. worship service
Almighty and loving God, we thank and praise you for your faithfulness to St. Stephen for over 48 years.
For this we are eternally grateful. A new chapter has presented itself as St. Stephen prepares for the future. Our needs are changing and our facilities are in need of renovations. We trust in you as we step out in faith to improve our church.
"Opening Doors to Welcome and Serve" is our most compassionate desire. We believe that this is also your will, not only for now but for generations to come. May we fulfill our calling with generous hearts and minds to this vision and for the resources it will require.
We ask this in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
